Landing Collars

Provides a “landing” for either a ball or the Swift Drill Liner Wiper Plug and Swift Drill Drill Pipe Dart.

Depending upon the wellbore and liner design, the Landing Collar can provide additional back pressure support by becoming a back pressure valve when latched with a plug and dart.

Or, if using hydraulic liner tools placed above it, the Landing Collar can be used to actuate those tools when a ball has been dropped in the ball seat and pressure can be allowed to build.

Unrestricted circulation can then be re-established by shearing away the ball seat.
